Desspina has only recently decided to rent her summer home out again and we are so pleased that she has allowed us to re-add it to our portfolio of properties.

Set back from the seafront in a quiet area of the village, Desspina’s Villa offers a well-appointed, comfortable and traditional Greek country home. Handily located but a short walk from the beaches, the tavernas and supermarkets of St George, the Villa comprises two spacious bedrooms – one double, one twin – with ample storage/wardrobe space in both, a tiled bathroom and the huge family room. This central space combines a really good sized sitting room with integral dining area, seating six, and the two divan sofas can become beds, providing potential accommodation for a fifth and sixth guest. The Villa is comfortably furnished (with a colour TV) and the full sized kitchen is properly equipped with all you’ll need, including a large fridge/freezer.

No Corfiot house is complete without a veranda and the large porch at Desspina’s Villa provides a cool area to enjoy the evening breeze, catch up on your reading or just nurse a bottle of village wine. There’s a small barbecue should you feel like buying some freshly caught sardines or locally bred lamb chops. For your comfort, all the windows are fitted with mosquito screens.

Desspina’s Villa enjoys a private garden where children can play and the off-the-beaten-track location ensures that you can enjoy your stay in total relaxation. The Blue Flag winning southern beach is approximately 150 meters from your front door and you’ll discover lovely, locally owned and run restaurants which seem to be open at all hours, offering everything from a Greek coffee in the morning, a chilled beer and mezze at lunch, ice creams and cold drinks during the day and wonderful, freshly cooked traditional Greek food for suppers which go late into the night.
