The Gongaki Family have long been close friends of ours and we’re delighted to offer their appealing pension accommodation to our guests. The building surrounds an enchanting courtyard garden, bursting with exotic flowers, where you can enjoy your breakfast or share a bottle of wine in the evenings. The communal lounge area has a real fire – for those early or late seasonal bookings – and chess boards, backgammon and, for those who want to catch up with the news, satellite TV.

Alexandra and Spiro take exceptional care of their guests and speak perfect English and German – you will soon become part of their extended family, with their relatives and friends popping in for a coffee or a beer, and will enjoy their relaxed but genuinely warm welcome.

Their breakfasts are legendary in the village, with the family providing everything from cereal, fresh fruit and yoghurts, freshly baked bread and honey, eggs, ham, juices, brewed coffees and herbal and fruit teas.

The rooms have been recently renovated and are all individually decorated and offer comfortable, traditional style pension accommodation. Most of the rooms offer air conditioning (extra cost payable locally). The Villa Maria is well located in the quieter end of the village, close to the sprawling sandy beaches of St. George, nearby hotel pool (open to non-residents) and good tavernas and restaurants.
